Suomalaisessa valtakunnallisessa lasten- ja nuorisopsykiatrisessa ”Pojasta mieheksi” -seurantatutkimuksessa opettajat ja vanhemmat arvioivat lapset ensimmäisen kerran 8-vuotiaina tunne-elämää ja käyttäytymistä koskevilla lomakkeilla. Väestöotosta on seurattu aikuisuuteen saakka.
